The Miami Police Department has sent us the following notification to share with all of you:
This Thursday, October 11, 2012, Downtown Miami will be getting a visit from the President of the United States Barack Obama. The President is scheduled to attend an event at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel.
As we all know the safety of our President is of extreme importance as well as the safety of those who will be attending the event. As downtowners we are aware that during these visits we are seriously impacted with traffic issues and with this event we can expect detours and closures in and around the downtown area.
